October is so much fun!
I love October! The change of seasons, the cooler weather, pumpkins and mums and, of course, Phil's birthday! I love to decorate for Halloween and Fall and I've also discovered that I love to shop for seasonal outfits for Sarah! There are 2 different outfits in these pictures and Sarah in her "pumpkin" hat! I'm sure there will be many more pictures to come!!

Community Day with Sarah's cousins!
On Saturday, we went to Community Day with Sarah's cousins, Frank and Kiersten, at a park near their house. We had lots of fun! It was a chilly day so it was really the first day this season that we had to break out the jackets! Luckily the rain held out until we were getting ready to leave!

Now how do I take a shower!
Ok, so when I take a shower, if Sarah is not asleep in her crib, I put her in her bouncy seat and bring it with me in the bathroom! Not anymore! These were the only 2 pictures I could get of her since obviously I don't bring the camera with me in the shower, but she managed to get herself completely on the floor with just her one leg still caught in the buckle. She's smiling here, but this did end in tears because she bumped her nose on the floor! Bye, bye bouncy seat...time to pack it away!
Sarah got herself into a predicament
We were hanging out on the couch the other night before bed and Sarah likes to sit in the corner of the couch and play with some toys. Well she was rolling around and we were watching her, obviously, but she gracefully rolled herself off the corner of the couch and got stuck in the hole of pillows that Daddy had built for her. It was too funny and we had to get some pictures of it. Daddy also took a little video of Sarah with her "butt stuck"! She didn't know what she did at first, but then she thought it was pretty funny too!

7 Months!
Sarah turned 7 months old today! I am really loving this age! She is so much fun and learning new things everyday! It is fascinating to watch her explore and learn new things! Sarah has been eating solids for about a month now and we are almost through introducing all of the stage 1 foods. We have a few more to go, but she really likes all of them except for the green vegetables! Go figure! The sweet peas didn't work out so well so we will be holding off on those for awhile. She loves carrots, sweet potatoes and squash. She especially enjoys the sweet fruits that she's had like pears and peaches! When we first started, Sarah was eating rice cereal, but she is now enjoying her organic oatmeal cereal that she has every morning for breakfast often with a fruit! She still loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and her newest find is The Wiggles! I love being home with Sarah and being able to teach her new things and watch her learn things on her own! I have a feeling the next few months she is going to become pretty mobile and really give me a run for my money! She's already got the army crawl down pretty good and she can get to where she wants to go!
When I started taking her monthly pictures in her swing, I was thinking how big she was going to get as the months went on! It's also a challenge to get her attention for a picture sometimes, especially with the giant poster I hung in front of her!

This was obviously not my idea!
We had corn on the cob for dinner tonight and Daddy got the brilliant idea to let Sarah check on an already eaten ear of corn...Yuck! She loved it though and she was completely fine! I'm trying not to be so paranoid about things and Phil will even admit that I am surprising him with my "somewhat" calmness!

The Great Allentown Fair!
Phil and I decided to take Sarah to her first fair! She loved it, especially the animals! A few of her cousins went along too! We had a really fun day!
Notice the sign: "Sarah's Fishing Hole!" I made Cole play this game.

Cole, Cohen, Me, Callista and Sarah! (Phil is taking the picture:)

Cole had one prize on his mind and it was the black and white batman! I was quite impressed with his basketball shooting skills. He won the spiderman fair and square!

We had to go find this guy because my Dad was talking about him all morning. He has been announcing at the Fair for 32 years! His name is "Pumkin Miller". Cole didn't want to get his picture taken, but he offered him a quarter to get a gumball out of the nearby machine and Cole flew around the table like it was nobody's business!

Callista did Sarah's hair and I thought it was so cute! I never thought to put it up like that yet. As a result, I went out and bought a bunch of little hair bands that will fit her!
