So this morning, when Sarah woke up, she started this new thing of smacking her lips together almost like she is eating of of a spoon. I thought maybe she was doing this because she was hungry, but she has been doing it off and on all day and then she smiles like she thinks she is doing something funny. I wonder if she is just practicing for when we start her on cereal soon. We go to the doctor on Wednesday for her 4 month check up so we'll see what she recommends for solids! I think this will be a fun new adventure with Sarah as we embark on "solid" food!
I haven't been able to get a video of her smacking her lips so far, but if I do, I will be sure to post it. It really is cute!

New development!
Sarah was so cute tonight. We were laying in bed and she reached up to touch my face! It was the first time that she had done this knowingly. You could see the look in her face like she knew that she was touching my face. Of course she continued to do this for the next 15-20 minutes or so. It was so adorable. She was grabbing my nose and my mouth and just smiling and cooing. She is really starting to get good with her hands.
I also had her on her playmat today and she is really getting good at playing with her toys. I also added a toy to it ( I know you're not supposed to add anything, but I was right there with her). It's this colorful Lamaze bug that when you pull the rings down, it vibrates back up. Well, she got ahold of those rings and tried to put them in her mouth and when she let go a little, it vibrated back up and she was like "woah". Of course she kept repeating that as well! It is just so cute to see her exploring and learning new things all the time. It's like something brand new every day and it is so wonderful!
