My First Mother's Day

I honestly didn't know if this day would ever come after all the troubles we went through to conceive her. However, it is finally here, my First Mother's Day and I couldn't be happier! Sarah has just been the light of my life and I am so thankful that I have been blessed to be her mother. We had a very nice day. We relaxed most of the morning and then we went to Phil's parents for dinner. Here are just a few of the pictures that Phil took of Sarah and I on this very special day!

Just being a Mom is the only gift that I needed, but Phil was thoughtful and spoiled me a little bit. I guess he figured I deserved it after everything we have been through to get to this point!

He got me this ducky charm for my silver bracelet and it has Sarah's name engraved on one side and her date of birth on the other side!

And if that wasn't enough, he also got me this necklace with Sarah's birthstone, amethyst! So beautiful!

It was a Great Day!
